I'm not much of a fan of the Zombie genre (I've never seen Dawn of the Dead or even Romero's Night of the Living Dead, though I will always remember Resident Evil fondly), but even I had to be moved somehow by a zombified extra who wouldn't leave the loungeroom, shouting at the final ten minutes of Collingwood versus whoever, and the special something that is a crowd of zombies outside the front door chanting "Braaaaaains..."
Of course my weekend was mostly a social wasteland - filming is time-consuming, after all - but let me tell you, Savoy Opera Company's HMS Pinafore was excellent (Ollie mugged it up hardcore, bringing tears to my eyes when singing the praises of being an Englishman, and the fellow playing Sir Joseph was astonishingly good), and Trial By Jury was only marred by a poor performance by the Judge.
Go and support your friend; go on, you won't ever see some Gilbert & Sullivan if you don't see it now. And you'll be missing out if you don't.
