It's rare that someone whose act you loathe gets the crap punched out of them on stage, but that's exactly what happened to Pauly Shore, as reported by Chortle. There's even a link to a mobile phone captured video of the event.

...except, as gadge was the first to advise me, it was all a hoax, staged for publicity purposes in the wake of the attention given to Michael Richards' racist outburst. As if his comedy wasn't enough... But come on, this is beyond cynical and frankly just a tiny bit evil.
