It's drawing near the close of the year, and among the things that will go on break until the new year gets started properly will be Impro Sundae. Yes, there are only four shows left for Australia's longest-running weekly impro comedy show, and yours truly will likely be performing at all of them. More importantly, I'll be hosting for the first time ever.

So, if you've never experienced the live impro comedy madness of Impro Sundae, come on down to the Comic's Lounge. The last couple of shows for the year (as noted below) will be afternoon shows, so if your previous excuse has been that 8:30-11:00pm is too late for a school night, your excuse is gone. Come on down and help The Crew go out with a bang.

Oh, and if you're free tonight, the Crew (featuring me) are headlining a night of comedy (with stand-up by Crew regulars Janelle Koenig (filthy and funny), Vanessa Benet (characterful and funny) and Dan Walmsley (smart, tall and funny)) at the Elephant and Wheelbarrow in the city. I can't think of any other reason you should go down there, so if you've ever wanted to see what it's like this is the perfect excuse...

Impro Sundae

  • Sunday December 3 - no show.

  • Sunday December 10 - 5pm afternoon show; line-up to be confirmed, but probably me.

  • Sunday December 17 - 5pm afternoon show; line-up to be confirmed, but probably me.

I am filled with self-satisfaction that multiple friends forwarded this link to me, though I'm disappointed that the line "It's not rocket science, it's rockin' science" has now been taken... I'll have to quote it. It was in the Herald-Sun too, only with a much stupider photo.
