RUIN ANYONE ANYWHERE ANYTHING
Aug. 28th, 2002 03:15 pmI have received no less than two unsolicited emails with the above subject line. They're urging me to "start my own eBook Empire now!" Which doesn't sound like ruining anything, except maybe my own life.
In better news - and this is especially for you,
madigrrl - there's movement at the station in the world of Python (Monty). Yes, there are plans for a Graham Chapman biopic, though who will play him - and the other Pythons, who of course - along with the rest of the Oxbridge Mafia - must feature heavily, I've no idea. The name of the film? Gin and Tonic.
The other Pythons aren’t slouching about, either; there's a new Rutles telemovie, Can't Buy Me Lunch, with guest stars including Steve Martin, Robin Williams, David Bowie and Jewel. Terry Gilliam's The Man Who Killed Don Quixote may have died two years ago, but a documentary about it, Lost in La Mancha, has been put together and is touring film festivals around the UK. John Cleese is on the up and up, set to appear in Shrek 2 and Charlie's Angels 2.
Insane.
